Is next year's Michigan team going to be a contender?

Jim Harbaugh is about to wrap up his third season as Michigan's head coach, and while he hasn't led the Wolverines to a Big Ten title just yet, he's had his team in contention each year. One Yahoo reporter - Charles Robinson - thinks that Harbaugh's 2018 squad will be his best yet.

Robinson believes that Harbaugh's Wolverines will lose next week to Ohio State, ending the 2017 campaign with an 8-4 mark. He and Pat Forde both think that next year's team will be better.

Michigan was one of the youngest teams in the Big Ten this year after sending 11 players to the NFL Draft in 2016. Perhaps next year, the combination of talent and experience is enough to get the program over the hump.
