4-Star RB Zach Charbonnet Announces Michigan Commitment

Michigan football landed a major recruit tonight. The Wolverines went out to the West Coast to do so.

Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian four-star running back Zach Charbonnet announced his commitment to Michigan. He did so after a weekend official visit to Ann Arbor.

Charbonnet was the Wolverines' top running back target, according to 247Sports.

CHarbonnet held over two dozen scholarship offers. He revealed his decision on Twitter.

Charbonnet is the No. 15 running back in the 2019 class, according to 247Sports' Composite Rankings. He is also the 306th-rated prospect in the class. Here is a look at Michigan's updated 2019 recruiting class with Charbonnet in the fold.

Currently, Michigan has the No. 2 recruiting class in the Big Ten and the 16th nationally, per 247Sports' Composite Rankings.
