Potentially the best Big Ten football news all year.

Chalk this one up as a huge victory for University of Minnesota students. Kare11 News is reporting that the University Regents have approved the decision to sell beer during football games at the on-campus TCF Bank Stadium.

Minnesota is the first Big Ten school to allow alcohol sales to the general public (it is allowed in suites), and it is expected to bring in $1.5 million of additional funding for the school next season.

Minnesota is now one of more than twenty schools that will be selling alcohol at sporting events.
