Minnesota head coach Jerry Kill resigned earlier today due to health concerns. Throughout the day, tributes to Kill have been pouring in from all over the college football world. One particularly touching one came from Cavonte Johnson, a walk-on defensive back for the Gophers.
On Facebook, Johnson detailed how Kill was willing to give him a chance when he was a senior coming off a knee injury and what followed after that. Gopher beat writer Ryan Burns has a shot of Johnson's post. It is definitely worth a read.

Seeing how much Kill impacted those around him is truly amazing. We wish you the best, coach.
