Gabrielle Union has taken to Twitter to back Nebraska's players who kneeled during the national anthem.

Nebraska's Michael Rose-Ivey, Mohamed Barry and DaiShon Neal knelt together during the national anthem before the Huskers' road win against Northwestern on Saturday night.

Rose-Ivey posted an impassioned note on Twitter on Monday regarding why he did it, also revealing that he and his teammates have since gotten death threats.

Gabrielle Union, Dwyane Wade's wife and a big Nebraska fan, has taken to Twitter to show support for these players.

Good on Gabrielle for speaking out.

Nebraska is set to host Illinois at 3:30 p.m. E.T. on ESPN2.
