Kendall Dennis, a four-star cornerback out of Lakeland, Florida, has developed into one of the most coveted defensive backs in the 2020 recruiting class. He currently holds 17 reported scholarship offers.
The direction that his recruitment is taking is beginning to really take shape. On Monday, Dennis released a top eight schools list.
It is unclear whether this is a final list, or if others have the opportunity to jump into this top tier. Florida and the SEC are a major focus, though he is considering some other programs as well.
Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Nebraska, Tennessee, and USF all make the cut.

Dennis is a four-star player in both 247Sports’ individual site rankings, and the composite rankings that take into account the industry rankings as a whole.
247 composite has him ranked No. 338 overall in the 2020 class, No. 31 among cornerbacks, and No. 54 in Florida.
As of today, no analysts have logged a prediction for where Dennis will wind up committing. He obviously has plenty of local options, but Georgia is very successful at going into Florida, and Nebraska and Scott Frost have deep ties to the state from he and his staff’s time at UCF.
