Kirk Herbstreit Predicts Nebraska's Final Record This Year

ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit weighed in on how he thinks Nebraska will finish the year.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers, who won only five regular season games in 2015, already have four victories this season after knocking off Northwestern on the road Saturday. The Cornhuskers, who are now ranked No. 15 in the country, have a 4-0 record heading into this weekend's matchup with Illinois.

So what final record does Kirk Herbstreit think Nebraska will wind up with? His guess is 9-3.

Nebraska still has games against Illinois, Indiana, Purdue, Wisconsin, Ohio State, Minnesota, Maryland and Iowa.

If you assume a loss against Ohio State, that means Nebraska will drop two other games to Big Ten foes.

Is Herbstreit right, or will Nebraska put together a double-digit win season?
