Mike Riley Landed His First Big Recruit At Nebraska Today, No. 1 OG Committed To Huskers
Mike Riley has landed his first big-time recruit at the University of Nebraska.
Wednesday afternoon, four-star offensive lineman Jalin Barnett (Lawton, Okla.) committed to the Huskers. The 6-foot-4, 315-pound prospect is rated the No. 1 offensive guard in the country and the No. 43 player overall per ESPN's recruiting rankings. Barnett chose Nebraska over Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Alabama, among other programs.

With Ohio State, the reigning national champions and likely 2015 preseason No. 1 team in the country residing in his conference, Riley better continue recruiting at a high level. The Big Ten is going to be much improved in upcoming seasons.
Getting Barnett is a very good start for the Huskers as they attempt to reach a championship level.
