2018 Pro-Style QB Recruit Bart Harris Commits To Nebraska

Pro-style quarterback Bart Harris announced his commitment to Nebraska on Wednesday.

Nebraska added a walk-on quarterback to its 2018 recruiting class this afternoon.

On Wednesday, soon-to-be high school senior Bart Harris took to Twitter to announce he'd committed to Nebraska.

In the message, he thanked his friends and family and posted a picture of himself with Nebraska head coach Mike Riley.

Check it out:

Harris, a 6-foot-4, 210-pound pro-style quarterback from Belton, Missouri, had offers from several FCS schools and interest from multiple Division I schools, and ultimately he decided he'll be joining the Cornhuskers next fall as a walk-on.

Harris was at Nebraska's Friday Night Lights camp earlier this month and apparently caught they eye of some of the coaching staff with his performance.

With the addition of Harris, Nebraska now has 11 hard commits for the 2018 recruiting class. It's the No. 16 ranked class in the nation, and No. 4 in the Big Ten, per 247 Sports.
