Nebraska Falls To Northern Illinois, 21-17

Nebraska's season is not going as planned.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers lost again on Saturday, and after this one, you can expect fans to start calling for Mike Riley's job.

Nebraska fell to Northern Illinois at home, 21-17, as quarterback Tanner Lee threw three interceptions - two of which were returned for touchdowns. The Cornhuskers were unable to run the ball effectively - finishing the day with just 85 rushing yards on 36 carries.

Nebraska is now 1-2 on the season after losses to Oregon and NIU.

It's safe to say that Nebraska fans are a frustrated bunch at the moment.

Nebraska will next get Rutgers at home before heading to Illinois a week later. Riley is going to have to turn things around pretty quickly in Lincoln.
