It hasn't always been the best first season for Scott Frost leading Nebraska football, but Husker fans should be extremely encouraged by the last few weeks.

After an 0-6 start, the Huskers have won four of five games, with the sole loss coming by just five points at No. 10 Ohio State.

This week, Frost said that his team is "dangerous," and can play with anyone in the Big Ten. The Huskers continue to prove him right.

Nebraska has done well to adjust to Frost's modern offense, but on Saturday, it won a classic Big Ten slugfest. Nebraska knocked off Michigan State 9-6, behind three field goals by freshman kicker Barret Pickering.

Kirk Herbstreit has been complimentary of Nebraska football over the last few weeks, and it continued today.

He tweeted about the Huskers this afternoon.

Nebraska has a chance to finish up on extremely high note on Friday.

The Huskers travel to Big Ten West rival Iowa on the day after the Thanksgiving. The Hawkeyes got off the schneid in a big way Saturday, drubbing lowly Illinois 63-0 to break a three game losing streak.

That could be a pretty fun one for everyone enjoying leftovers next week.
