Cross one milestone off Scott Frost's list at Nebraska.

The recently-hired head coach just landed his first commitment since returning to his alma mater, and it was a good one.

West Palm Beach (Fla.) Oxbridge Academy four-star safety C.J. Smith announced his commitment to the Huskers moments ago.

Smith is the 26th-ranked safety in the 2018 class, per 247Sports' Composite Rankings.

Smith's commitment should ease some of the sting of losing four-star wide receiver Joshua Moore, who decommitted from Nebraska this afternoon.

Here is an updated look at the Huskers' current 2018 class.
