Nebraska has recruited well under Scott Frost, and that trend continued tonight. The Huskers dipped into the JUCO ranks for one of the top junior college players in the country.

Sumter (S.C.) Highland C.C. four-star defensive tackle Jahkeem Green committed to Nebraska this evening, according to multiple reports. Green had previously been committed to South Carolina.

He officially visited Lincoln over the weekend, and is a late addition to the 2019 class. If all goes according to plan, he will be eligible for the Huskers this fall.

Mike Schaefer of 247Sports first broke the news of Green's commitment.

Even without Green, Nebraska owns a top-20 recruiting class for 2019. He'll only make that haul a deeper one.

Green is the second-rated defensive tackle in the junior college class of 2019, according to 247Sports' Composite Rankings.

Nebraska will open up its 2019 season at home against South Alabama on August 31.
