Nebraska Wideout Stanley Morgan Jr. Arrested On Possession Of Marijuana
Nebraska wide receiver Stanley Morgan Jr. was arrested back on May 6.
According to a KETV Newswatch 7, Nebraska wide receiver Stanley Morgan Jr. was arrested back on May 6 for possession of marijuana in Port Orange, Florida. Morgan allegedly had 21.4 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in his car during a traffic stop. Antonio Reed was also in the car.

The Port Orange, Florida officer noted: "I could smell an odor of fresh cannabis as soon as I got behind the vehicle, and it only grew stronger as I approached it."
The officer said he saw fresh cannabis in "plain view" on the center console of the vehicle. A search of the car found a plastic bag of presumed cannabis in a gray backpack with Morgan's name on it.

Morgan's arrest was originally listed as a felony and later reduced to a misdemeanor.
Morgan is one of Nebraska's top threats. He caught 33 passes for 453 yards and two touchdowns a year ago.
Nebraska released a statement on the matter.
