Nebraska WR/PR De'Mornay Pierson-El To Miss 6 To 8 Weeks With Foot Injury

The worst part of college football in August is the inevitable injuries suffered during pre-season camp. Nebraska is the latest team to be affected by this unfortunate yearly occurrence. 

De'Mornay Pierson-El, the Huskers' standout sophomore wide receiver and punt returner, suffered a foot injury in today's practice and will be sidelined six to eight weeks, according to head coach Mike Riley.

This is a major blow indeed. As a freshman, Pierson-El returned three punts for touchdowns and added 321 receiving yards and four scores. His name appeared on a number of pre-season All-America teams and watch lists.
