After a week-long investigation into an alleged rape at the home of two Nebraska football players, the county attorney's office announced there will be no charges filed in the matter, according to Journal Star News' Nichole Manna.
Filing charges requires proof beyond a reasonable doubt, which is "simply not there."
Now that the investigation has come to a close, Nebraska released a statement following the Lincoln Police Department's press conference. Rivals' Sean Callahan shared that statement to Twitter.
