Nebraska fans entered Saturday full of promise and hope for their football team. It all started with an electric College GameDay atmosphere the likes of which ESPN has never seen before.

After hours of lead-up, Nebraska fans saw that promise and hope fade away within the first few minutes of kickoff against Ohio State.

Quarterback Adrian Martinez struggled to diagnose the Buckeyes' defensive coverage and threw three interceptions in the first half alone.

After several turnovers and just pure domination at the line of scrimmage from Ohio State, the Buckeyes took a 38-0 lead into the half.

Naturally, Nebraska fans were not happy with their team's performances.

Here's just a sample of reactions from Huskers fans in the first half.

After No. 1 Clemson and No. 2 Alabama suffered scares from lesser competition in the first half, Ohio State wanted to leave no doubt it was the better team tonight.

The Buckeyes showed they are one of, if not the best team in the country.

Transfer quarterback Justin Fields is primed to break the touchdown records set by former Buckeyes star Dwayne Haskins just last year.

The Big Ten is in trouble if Ohio State continues to play like this.

Stay tuned for the latest.
