As football programs around the country prepare for an important recruiting weekend, three-star quarterback Rishard Densmore has trimmed his college list down to six teams.

While Densmore currently plays quarterback in high school, most scouting reports list him as an athlete due to his ability to play wide receiver and running back. It is unclear where he'll end up playing at the next level.

The Alabama native is the No. 101 athlete in the 2020 recruiting class, per 247Sports. He has scholarship offers from 14 schools but will only consider six of them.

Densmore revealed his updated list on social media, saying "I want to thank the man above for these opportunities."

The final six teams in the hunt for Densmore are Georgia Southern, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Tennessee and Tulane.

Here is Densmore's announcement from his Twitter account:

Densmore spoke highly of Tennessee during his visit in the fall, and an opportunity to play in SEC is quite appealing. Nonetheless, with how Scott Frost has recruited as of late, Nebraska should be a contender in the sweepstakes for the three-star athlete.

Frost is more than capable of developing Densmore under center. After all, he's done a marvelous job helping dual-threat quarterbacks such as McKenzie Milton and Adrian Martinez.

The current expectation is that Densmore's commitment will occur in August.

The clock is officially ticking for all six schools trying to add Densmore to their 2020 class.
