Rivals National Recruiting Analyst Boasts About Nebraska's Class

Nebraska's 2017 recruiting class could be one of the best ever in Lincoln, Neb.

Nebraska currently has just 15 commitments, but seven are from top 500 prospects, and the Huskers are still in contention in the recruitment process of at least five five-star recruits.

Rivals.com national recruiting analyst Mike Farrell boasted about Nebraska's class in his column today.

From Rivals.com:

Surprising class – Maryland, Rutgers and Iowa are all ranked higher, but Nebraska has less commitments than all of them and the No. 4 average star ranking in the conference. Is that a surprise with the Huskers undefeated? A little bit as the buzz around Nebraska has been unlike anything I’ve seen with the Huskers in a decade and the Calibraska movement is strong.

The "Calibraska" movement does appear to be real.

Two of Nebraska's top four recruits - four-star QB Tristan Gebbia and three-star WR Keyshawn Johnson Jr. - are from California, and three of the five-star prospects they're recruiting are from the state as well.
