Following the most embarrassing loss of Scott Frost's tenure at Nebraska, the Cornhuskers will have to move on and prepare for their next opponent in Purdue.

While the Boilermakers are coming off an impressive victory over Boston College, Nebraska's offense should have their most important playmaker at full strength. Last weekend, it was obvious that Adrian Martinez wasn't capable of leading the charge against Michigan.

Moving over to this weekend, Frost believes a full week of reps will help his versatile quarterback on Saturday.

Nebraska football reporter Parker Gabriel revealed Frosts' comments about Martinez on Twitter.

"Continuity there definitely helps, particularly when you've got young guys that haven't played much there. They need those reps and those looks at what they're going to see."

Now that Martinez is receiving the majority of snaps at practice, he could be in line for a solid performance.

In his first game of the season, Martinez had 187 passing yards and 117 rushing yards. However, last week the dual-threat quarterback only had 22 yards through the air and an interception before getting benched.

Nebraska and Purdue will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET, as the game will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network.
