Nebraska knocked off No. 22 Oregon at home on Saturday night, scoring a huge non-conference win. Quarterback Tommy Armstrong thinks the Cornhuskers had some help from above.
The Nebraska Cornhuskers are 3-0 after downing Oregon, 35-32, after a late 34-yard touchdown run from quarterback Tommy Armstrong. After the contest, ESPN reporters asked Armstrong about the win. Armstrong dedicated the victory to the late Sam Foltz, adding that he thinks the former Cornhuskers punter was giving them some help from above.
Foltz tragically passed away in a car accident earlier this summer.
Earlier in the day, Oregon paid tribute to Foltz's memory by placing green and yellow flowers on the 27-yard line.
