On Saturday, the Ohio State Buckeyes will face their biggest test of the season against the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Former head coach Urban Meyer gave his preview of the matchup and had nothing but praise for the fans in Lincoln.

Meyer has experience going up against Nebraska. He led Ohio State to a blowout victory over Nebraska on the road in 2017.

The circumstances this time around will be different. Ryan Day is now the coach of the Buckeyes, meanwhile the Cornhuskers are suddenly finding their rhythm under Scott Frost.

When talking about this upcoming game between Ohio State and Nebraska on the Big Ten Network, Meyer showed his appreciation for the Cornhuskers' fan base.

"I remember when I first got there I walked around a little bit. I just have some much admiration for that place," Meyer said. "Those are as good of fans as there are in America. Ryan Day and I had a little chat about what it's going to be like. That's going to be one of the top atmospheres in the Big Ten."

The fans at Memorial Stadium should be fired up for Saturday's game.

Nebraska has been waiting several years to pick up a statement win. Knocking off Ohio State in September would be the type of victory that elevates the program.

All that being said, the Buckeyes enter this weekend as overwhelming favorites against the Cornhuskers.
