Earlier: Nebraska is struggling mightily this season. The Huskers fell to 3-6 after losing 55-45 at Purdue this afternoon.
After the loss, Nebraska DL Jack Gangwish performed an admirable gesture. The senior and former walk-on entered the crowd immediately after the game and thanked Husker fans who made the trip to support the team.
