Ahead of Wisconsin's big game this weekend against Northwestern, the Badgers could be without one of their most important players.

According to reports, Badgers QB Alex Hornibrook coould miss this weekend's game with a concussion.

Though Hornibrook was not listed on the injury report, the team is apparently ready to give sophomore QB Jack Coan the start if Hornibrook isn't cleared to play.

Hornibrook is in his third year as starter for the Badgers. He has 11 TDs to six INTs this season.

At 5-2 and with a 3-1 record in-conference, this game against Northwestern could help decide the Big Ten West Division winner.

Wisconsin already have a win over Iowa. If the Badgers beat the Wildcats and win out, and Iowa lose just one more game, Wisconsin should secure a spot in the Big Ten Championship Game.

Wisconsin will be visiting Northwestern at Ryan Field, 12 p.m. this Saturday on FOX.
