Desmond Howard Getting Ripped On Twitter After National Champion Pick Stanford's Loss To Northwestern
Update: Howard has responded, good-naturedly, via Twitter.
">September 5, 2015
Earlier: Last Saturday, ESPN's College GameDay analysts made some controversial conference champion and College Football Playoff picks, but no one came close to Desmond Howard's prediction of Stanford winning a national championship. Even with that pick being bizarre, most would probably have taken Stanford to at least open 2-0 heading into the USC game. Instead, the Cardinal laid an egg up in Evanston against middling Big Ten squad Northwestern.
As expected, Howard is being ripped on Twitter.

That is a relatively small sampling of the hate he is receiving. Howard has probably received over 100 tweets about it in the last hour. Bold picks are fun, but this might've been a bit too out there, Des.
