Northwestern vs. Ohio State preview:
The Buckeyes suffered their first loss of the season last Saturday as they fell to Penn State 24-21. Northwestern is winners of its last three games with the latest coming last weekend against Indiana as the Wildcats topped the Hoosiers 24-14.
The Wildcats put together a complete game against the Hoosiers with 123 rushing yards, 285 passing yards and zero turnovers. Quarterback Clayton Thorson had a great game with 285 yards through the air and three touchdowns.
The Buckeyes didn't have a bad game by any means in their loss to Penn State as they out gained the Nittany Lions 413-276, but eight penalties did the Buckeyes in.
The Buckeyes and Wildcats last played in 2013 at Northwestern where the Buckeyes won 40-30.
Northwestern vs. Ohio State prediction:
Ohio State may be coming off of a loss, but the Buckeyes are still a very complete and talented football team. The Buckeyes talent far outweighs the Wildcats, but nevertheless this is a Big Ten road game for Ohio State.
Northwestern's defense is allowing 414 yards per game which ranks 72nd in FBS. The Ohio State offense will be far too much for the Wildcats.
