Northwestern basketball used to feature one of the most unique court designs in the Big Ten. Center court featured a gigantic "N" with a wildcat coming out of it, while the inside parts of both arcs were painted a weird shade of light purple. It also had the Big Ten logo above the free throw line instead of below the charity stripe, a unique (and kind of strange) look. The school had announced plans to change the court design, and today, the official Northwestern sports Twitter account tweeted out the new court, which features a new center court logo and a features the Wildcats' slogan of "Chicago's Big Ten Team."

The new design at Welsh-Ryan Arena is clean and sharp, and we like it a lot more than the old one.
