Ohio State’s 2016 class is pretty, pretty good. After locking up five-star Nick Bosa, Ohio State took over the No. 1 spot in 247Sports‘ composite rankings. The Buckeyes’ 2017 class may trump it. It is July 27, 2015, and the Buckeyes just grabbed a 10th 2017 commit, nine of whom are four or five star players. Safety Isaiah Pryor, of Archer High School (Ga.) committed to Ohio State today. Rivals broke the big recruiting news.

Pryor explained the decision to Steve Wiltfong at 247Sports.
“The main things were relationship with the coaches which we had for a long time, and the academics, and I talked to the team who I’m going to be playing with and they seem like down-to-earth players and I think we’ll mesh well.”
Cornerbacks/special teams coach Kerry Coombs had a big role in locking up Pryor.
One of the highlights of Pryor’s recruitment was when his family called once earlier in the process, Coombs answered his phone while at the White House to meet with the President.
“For him to take the time out of his busy schedule, I really appreciate that,” Pryor said.
Pryor also told 247 that his recruitment is over, so he will presumably not be taking any more official visits.
