Five-star cornerback Shaun Wade has been committed to Ohio State for over a year, but other schools aren't going to stop recruiting the Jacksonville native with almost a year until National Signing Day. Wade took a visit to nearby Florida over the weekend, but in a Scout interview, he says he's still a Buckeye.
Land-Grant Holy Land transcribed the relevant section:
"I'm 100% with Urban Meyer, and Ohio State. The corner coach, all the coaches, I love all the coaches. I talk to them 24/7, everyday."
There's plenty of time left in this recruitment, but that's a good sign for the Buckeyes. We just hope they get down to a more manageable call schedule. 24/7 recruitment has to be hell on a teenager's cell phone bill.
