The former Ohio State star tweeted a heartfelt message to his former coach.
Thad Matta is done as Ohio State's men's basketball coach. The program announced today that Matta and athletic director Gene Smith made a mutual decision to make a change.
Aaron Craft, one of the greatest players to wear the Ohio State uniform under Matta, reacted to the news on Twitter.
"Man, words can't describe what Coach meant to me and the program! Wouldn't have wanted to play for anyone else!" Craft tweeted.
He included a heartfelt picture.
Craft was part of a Sweet 16 team, a Final Four team and an Elite Eight team during his time at Ohio State. His senior season ended with a first-round loss to Dayton in the NCAA Tournament.
