Alabama 4-Star QB Commit Mac Jones Says 4-Star WR, Ohio State 5-Star CB Are 'Next' For Crimson Tide

It's been roughly 24 hours since Mac Jones committed to Alabama and the four-star quarterback already has big plans for the Crimson Tide.

Jones, a pro-style quarterback out of Florida, flipped from Kentucky to Alabama late Tuesday night.

The 6-foot-2 QB is now part of the Crimson Tide's 2017 class, which is ranked the No. 2 class in the country by 247Sports. Jones wants to make the class even better.

He told Andrew Bone of Rivals.com that he's already doing some recruiting for Alabama.

">@macjones2017 let me know he has already started reaching out to other top recruits to join him at #Alabama.

Some of that recruiting pretty clearly includes five-star cornerback Shaun Wade, who is an Ohio State commit, and four-star wide receiver D.J. Matthews, who is committed to Florida State.

Jones said those two top 60 prospects are "next" for the Crimson Tide on Twitter shortly after he announced his commitment.

Alabama's 2017 class includes 11 commitments, two of whom are five-stars.

The Crimson Tide trail Ohio State in the team rankings.
