Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State Account For Nearly 30 % Of NFL Draft's First 61 Picks
Three of the last four teams to play for a national championship are dominating the NFL Draft.
Alabama, Clemson and Ohio State accounted for 17 of the first 61 picks. The first and second rounds included 63 total picks. So, 27 percent of the first and second rounders came from those three schools.

Those three programs have also been crushing it on the recruiting trail, and almost all of those 17 players were four or five-star recruits. So, yes, recruiting rankings matter.
