What was supposed to be a Big Ten Championship Game preview between Ohio State and Wisconsin - and still could be - became a lot less compelling after the Badgers were upset by Illinois last week.

Nevertheless, the Ohio State-Wisconsin game could in all likelihood be each team's toughest regular season matchup.

Heading into the game, Associated Press writer Ralph D. Russo has released his weekly game predictions.

In what should come as little surprise, Russo is picking Ohio State to secure the win against Wisconsin. But he's expecting that the Badgers will manage to beat the 14-point spread.

Despite the Badgers’ loss last week, this is still the Buckeyes’ toughest test to date ... OHIO STATE 28-16.

The Buckeyes are riding a six-game winning streak against the Badgers dating back to 2011. Two of those wins came in the Big Ten Championship Game, but only one of them was decided by more than a touchdown.

Both teams boast a dominating defense that has allowed 20 or more points only once this year. But Wisconsin is the only team with a blemish on their record so far.

They both have the potential to make a huge case for a spot in the College Football Playoff with a win.

Get ready for a good one!
