Ohio State Offers Elite 2019 WR Committed Elsewhere

Arjei Henderson may be an Oklahoma commit, but that hasn't stopped other schools from showing interest.

Five schools have offered the four-star 2019 receiver out of Richmond (Tex.) Travis since he committed to OU on February 19: Arizona State, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Oregon and now Ohio State.

The Buckeyes extended Henderson an offer today. It is his 21st scholarship overall. You can view the full list here.

Currently, Henderson and fellow four-star wideout Theo Wease are Oklahoma's super-early commitments for the 2019 cycle. The Sooners signed a top-1o class this year and also have three well-regarded commits thus far in 2018: five-star offensive tackle Brey Walker, four-star quarterback Cam Rising and three-star corneback Jordon Austin.

As a sophomore, Henderson reeled in 100 catches for 1,401 yards and 18 touchdowns. Here are some highlights from a game against Fort Bend Bush from last fall, during which Henderson scored three touchdowns.

Ohio State has no 2019 commits as of now, but has three elite players pledged for 2018: five-star quarterback Emory Jones, four-star defensive back Jaiden Woodbey and four-star running back Brian Snead.

OSU's 2017 recruiting class finished No. 2 in the nation. You can check that group out here.
