Jamel Dean, a four-star cornerback in the class of 2015 who was previously committed to Ohio State, announced Friday morning he will be playing at Auburn.
The 6-foot-2, 200-pound defensive back enrolled early at OSU but left the program after not getting medically cleared by the Buckeyes' medical staff. There was some controversy surrounding his exit, as his high school coach felt Ohio State treated his former player wrongly.
Dean announced his commitment to Auburn on Twitter.
This is a nice get for the Tigers, as Dean is ranked the No. 32 cornerback in the 2015 class by 247 Sports' Composite Rankings.
Dean will need a waiver from the NCAA in order to be eligible immediately at Auburn.
