There weren’t many surprises during Wednesday’s National Signing Day. But with the 2020 recruiting cycle in the books, the final class rankings have been released. In the Big Ten, Ohio State’s 2020 class finished at the top of the conference.
The Buckeyes have been the a recruiting monster over the years. There’s been no drop-off in terms of on- or off-the-field success from Urban Meyer to Ryan Day.
Once again, Ohio State has the top 2020 recruiting class in the Big Ten. The Buckeyes signed three 5-stars and fourteen 4-stars this cycle. The rest of the Big Ten combined to sign just one 5-star prospect.
Here’s a look at the Big Ten’s top-five 2020 class rankings, according to the 247Sports Composite:
- Ohio State
- Penn State
Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines check in with the second-highest rated 2020 class in the Big Ten. Michigan failed to sign any 5-star prospects, but did sign fourteen 4-star recruits, matching Ohio State’s total.
Penn State was close to topping Michigan’s class. The Nittany Lions signed eleven 4-stars and sixteen 3-stars.
Nebraska and Wisconsin finished No. 4 and No. 5 in the Big Ten class rankings. The two programs signed a combined fourteen 4-star recruits.
