While the media went with Ohio State and Michigan as the favorites in the conference, Michigan State came out on top in the players' poll, with four votes for "Big Ten favorite." Iowa, Michigan, and Ohio State each received two votes, while Illinois, Minnesota, and Purdue received one vote each. Either three voters misunderstood the question, were having some fun, or know something that the rest of us don't about the league this year.

Nebraska's Memorial Stadium was voted as the best in the league with five votes, while Ohio Stadium, Beaver Stadium (three each), and Camp Randall Stadium (one) each received votes as well.

Urban Meyer was named the coach that the most player reps would want to play for, with five votes.
