Ohio State lost starting guard Branden Bowen to injury during today's game. His mother has confirmed reports that he is out for the season.
Bowen went down with a leg injury during the first quarter of the Buckeyes' game against Maryland.
He had his left leg placed in an air cast, and was carted off the field, never a good sign.
According to his mother, he will need surgery to fix a fractured fibula and tibia.
Bowen took to Twitter himself to assure fans that he will be okay.
Ohio State leads Maryland 48-7, but losing a starting lineman definitely mars a nice win over a hot Big Ten upstart.
