Bruce Feldman Thinks Ohio State, Alabama Given "Benefit Of The Doubt" Because Of Their Head Coaches

Reaction continues to pour in after the first College Football Playoff rankings of 2015. Fox Sports' Bruce Feldman shared his thoughts with Dan Patrick early Wednesday morning.

Feldman kicked off a 10-minute interview with what's sure to be a controversial statement. He thinks that Ohio State and Alabama, ranked No. 3 and No. 4 in the rankings respectively, both got the "benefit of the doubt" from the committee because they have the two best head coaches (Urban Meyer and Nick Saban) in college football. He thinks that Ohio State's schedule has been weak, while Alabama hasn't looked impressive against many of its foes. Check it out:

Feldman also commented on Baylor, TCU and whether USC interim head coach Clay Helton can land the full-time gig.

Is Feldman right? Are Ohio State and Alabama worthy of their rankings, or did the committee do them favors?
