Story: It was a strange sight as the away team, Ohio State, wore its home white jerseys in Evanston, Illinois. The abnormal wardrobe didn't do much to slow down the Buckeyes, though.
In its first game since a huge victory at home over Michigan State, Ohio State got off to something of a slow start, only leading by seven at the half. But Lenzelle Smith came to the rescue with one of the best performances of his career. On a day when Deshaun Thomas didn't crack 20 and Aaron Craft only took four shots, Smith poured in six 3-pointers on his way to a season-high 24 points.
Ohio State outscored the Wildcats 34-31 in the second to hold on for a comfortable yet unconvincing 10-point victory.
Anyone wondering if the jersey color made a difference? (I'm not)
