Buckeyes Remain No. 1 In Latest AP Poll

AP college football poll featuring Michigan State, Ole Miss, and TCU.

Questions surrounding the quarterback situation at Ohio State quickly faded into the background as the Buckeyes cruised to an easy 38-12 victory over Western Michigan Saturday afternoon. With the Buckeyes still undefeated, they remain the No. 1 team in the county - in both the Coaches' Poll and the AP Poll, which was just released

TCU was jumped for the second consecutive week - this time by Ole Miss, which now sits at No. 3, just behind Michigan State - after another unimpressive victory. The Horned Frogs and Baylor round out the top-5.

After a weekend full of cray finishes, there are five previously unranked teams in this week's poll. After big wins this weekend, Michigan and Florida made the biggest jumps. The Gators, after beating Tennessee in the final seconds, moved all the way from No. 40 to No. 25, while Michigan, who did not have a previous ranking, now sits at No. 22. Mississippi State, West Virginia and Call also made the cut, while Oregon, Arizona, Georgia Tech, BYU and Missouri dropped out of the rankings.
