Cardale Jones Takes Over As Heisman Favorite After Winning Ohio State Quarterback Job

When we last looked at odds for the Heisman Trophy, Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott and TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin shared the top spot at 5/1. Last night's surprising decision in the Ohio State quarterback race has thrown the odds on Sportsbook Bovada for a loop. After edging out J.T. Barrett for the position, and making some big throws against Virginia Tech's highly touted defense, Cardale Jones has taken over as the favorite.

As of August 18, Jones was at 12/1, while J.T. Barrett was at 9/1, and Braxton Miller was down at 33/1. Clearly Jones and Miller helped themselves with good showings on Monday.
