Cardale Jones Thinks Former Ohio State Assistant Tom Herman Should've Been Named Coach of the Year

Clemson's Dabo Swinney was named the Paul "Bear" Bryant coach of the year in college football Wednesday night. The Tigers' national champion runner-up is the first ACC coach to be given the honor, named after the late Alabama coach.

Cardale Jones would've gone with another coach.

The former Ohio State quarterback thinks his former offensive coordinator, Tom Herman, deserved the award. Herman went 13-1 in his first year leading Houston's program, which ended the season with a win against Florida State in the Peach Bowl.

It's tough to argue with that. It's tough to argue against Swinney receiving the award too, though.

Who would you have given it to?
