Friday night, five-star defensive end Chase Young committed to Ohio State during the program's 'Friday Night Lights' camp. Young, who has 41 offers outstanding, chose the Buckeyes over a number of other top schools, including Alabama.
After the decision, Land of 10's Jeremy Birmingham caught up with Youngand asked him why he chose Ohio State over Alabama, which he visited earlier in the week. Young said Ohio State is more "family oriented" - adding that when he showed up at Ohio State, he was greeted at the door. He claims it was different down in Tuscaloosa.

">@Birm: "It's just more family-oriented. I felt more needed and wanted here."

It remains to be seen whether anyone at Alabama will respond. Regardless, Ohio State is putting together an incredible 2017 class.
