Several playmakers will be on the field for today's Ohio State-Michigan game, but none will be more impactful than Chase Young. He'll have the chance this afternoon to prove yet again that he's the best defensive player in college football.

Ohio State has produced a plethora of talented NFL players on the defensive side of the ball, such as the Bosa brothers, Joey and Nick. It's actually possible that Young is the best of the bunch.

Regardless of all the debate surrounding which Ohio State product is truly the best player, it's pretty clear that there's mutual respect all around.

Young is paying homage to the Bosa brothers today by sporting a No. 97 backpack to Michigan Stadium.

Even though Young is already a household name and on pace to be a top pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, he doesn't want people to forget about the Buckeyes that came before him.

Here's the photo going viral:

This is a sweet gesture from Young, who was teammates with Nick Bosa for two seasons.

Young missed two games this season due to a suspension, but the six-foot-five defensive end has somehow totaled 16.5 sacks.

Ohio State defeated Penn State last weekend in large part because of Young's ability to rush the passer. Another strong performance against a rival program will all but cement his status as an all-time great for the Buckeyes.
