Chase Young is considered by many as the best prospect available in the 2020 NFL Draft. That being said, the expectation is that Joe Burrow will be the first overall pick. If that comes into fruition, it would open the door for the Washington Redskins to select the Ohio State defensive end.
Washington selected a former Buckeye in the first round of last year’s draft. The front office was enamored with Dwyane Haskins, who started in seven games this past season. He threw for 1,365 yards and seven touchdowns.
Haskins and Young were teammates together at Ohio State for two years. A potential reunion could be in the works if the Redskins select the talented pass-rusher with the No. 2 pick. Young was asked about the possibility of teaming up with Haskins at the NFL Combine.
“Yeah, me and Dwayne talk all the time. I’ve known him since high school,” Young said. “He definitely loves the organization, and obviously he wants me to come play with him. We’ll see how this whole thing turns out.”

The Redskins are projected to take Chase Young with the second pick in this year’s draft.
Young had an incredible career with the Buckeyes, totaling 30.5 sacks in just three years. He was a finalist for the Heisman Trophy this past season.
Even though Young will not compete during the on-field drills at the combine, the consensus around the league is that he’s the best defensive player that will be on the board in April.
Ohio State fans, do you want to see Haskins and Young play together in the nation’s capital?
