Ohio State had its biggest win of the season last night.

The Ohio State Buckeyes are for real. Just in case you weren't convinced before, last night proved it.

OSU went on the road and took down Purdue in West Lafayette, 64-63. The win moved the Buckeyes into a tie with the Boilermakers for first place in the Big Ten.

Ohio State has a national player of the year candidate in Keita Bates-Diop and plenty of supporting help from double-digit scorers Jae'Sean Tate, C.J. Jackson and Kaleb Wesson. Also, they have a first-year head coach who has done a tremendous job.

Chris Holtmann has totally rejuvenated the Buckeyes after coming over from Butler. He's already locked up his fifth 20-win season as a head coach, and he's done it at three different schools.

After last night's big win, Holtmann had a message for Buckeye fans.

"Fun night for Buckeyes everywhere. Great respect for Purdue. Need rest and prep for quick turnaround on Saturday against a big, physical team playing very well. See you on Saturday at 6pm," Holtmann tweeted."

Ohio State's next game is Saturday at home against Iowa. The Hawkeyes are struggling but OSU can't afford a letdown.

Currently, Ohio State is a No. 4 seed in ESPN's latest Bracketology.
