Cleveland Indians Announce Cardale Jones Will Throw Out First Pitch On June 5th
Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones will throw out the first pitch for the Cleveland Indians on June 5 when they take on the Baltimore Orioles, the franchise announced Thursday. Oddly enough, it was Jones himself who made it all happen.

Back on May 7, Jones, who was upset that his teammate Ezekiel Elliott had been given the chance to throw out the first pitch at a Cincinnati Reds game, tweeted at the Indians, complaining that he hadn't been given the same opportunity by his hometown team. The plea worked - Cleveland tweeted back at him with the offer.
After all of this, he better throw a strike - he certainly has the arm to do so.
