College Football Coaches Don't Expect Ohio State-Michigan State To Be That Competitive

Saturday's Ohio State-Michigan State game is one of the most-anticipated college football games of the season. It'll be a nationally-televised contest on ABC; ESPN's College GameDay will broadcast live from Columbus, too.

The game isn't really expected to live up to the hype, though - at least in terms of how competitive it'll be.

Sportsbooks have set the line at Ohio State -13.5. They aren't the only ones who think the game won't be close, either. According to ESPN's Joe Schad, multiple college football coaches who have played OSU and Michigan State think the Buckeyes will handle the Spartans quite easily.

The weather could change this. It's supposed to be cold in Columbus Saturday afternoon and precipitation is expected. If Ohio State and Michigan State are forced to play in rainy/snowy 30-degree weather, it's tough to imagine either team playing well enough to easily handle the other team.

Ohio State and Michigan State are set to kick off at 3:30 p.m. E.T.
