One of the top recruits in the country for the 2021 class has announced his college decision.
Jack Sawyer, the No. 3 overall recruit for the 2021 class per 247Sports, announced his commitment on Twitter.
The elite defensive lineman has committed to Ryan Day and Ohio State.
“This whole recruiting process has been a great experience and I’ve met some amazing people along the way. With that being said, I’ve talked with my family and decided I have to do what’s best for me and my future. That’s why I’ll be committing to THE Ohio State University!! Big thank you to Coach Day and Coach Johnson for giving me this opportunity, I’m ready to be a Buckeye!!” he tweeted.

Sawyer is a 6-foot-5 defensive end out of Pickerington North in Columbus, Ohio.
The elite recruit also had scholarship offers from Michigan, Michigan State and Penn State.
Sawyer becomes Ohio State’s first commitment in the 2021 class.
